Sounds like it would quite co$tly to upgrade the whole buggy, I'm happy with the way my KIII runs, but if I get schooled by a 777, I may have to just buy a Special 1! The shocks are even longer on the 777 as well are they not, I wouldn't think they would be even longer, but that is what I heard! I was actually suprised that the KIII Rear shocks were longer than the KII before I bought mine! The 777 seems like it would be more aggressive through the corners though, I haven't actually got to see one run yet though!

i've only used my 777 once so far & it was quite funny to watch.
i was zig zagging all over the track as this thing is so sensitive to steering inputs! it really changes direction so quickly that you turn too much into a corner & then end up overcorrecting to get it back & thats where the zig-zag starts
once you get used to it you'll be cornering way faster than ever before!
this has loads more steering than either my K2 or MBX5!!
i still really like the MBX5 but i think this will be the superior buggy in the long term

Default 777 SP1

FYI Atomic Hobbies has the 777 SP1 in stock for $699.99 and they charge $12 for UPS ground shipping. They have some killer combos of the car with 421B or O.S. V-Spec. Check them out. www.atomichobbies.com or 1-888-44-Atomic

The rear brace only fits if you tweak the chassis a little bit. King Headz has the 777 braces and the prices are decent.

Anybody try putting 777 parts on the K2? I am thinking the front arms (especially the upper front arms and hubs). Does it change any angles and if so what is it changing on handling?

I have the new hubs. The 3 holes top
can someone till me what each hole does for the buggy.

0 0 0
inside hole middle hole outside hole

right now i have mines in the middle hole.

to me it seem that if you put the mount in the middle hole the buggy seem to center faster coming out of turn. like if i have a sharp turn i can turn in faster and i'm able to line up for the jump a head of me.

could someone give me more info on this?

thanx Dibs

Default Caster block holes

Generally the further out you go creates a longer link which usually gives more traction. Do the shorter link will usually give you less traction with quicker response. I hope that helps.
