Actually, I really wanted to build an SC-R and this kinda sucks in a good way I guess.
lol, I'm thinking of buying one for this very reason, I love my SC-R and wouldn't trade it, but I wouldn't mind a second truck so friends could use it, and I could use a receiver actually

They don't make 1 deg VLA hubs at this time.

You can run the CR hubs but they make the rear end a little wider as they are .070 inches wider on both each side. I think it will still keep the rear end legal but it will be close.
Correct me if I'm wrong but you can also turn these hubs around (L on right and R on left) as a fast and dirty way to get to 3 degrees right???

The truck dogbones are too long, the new ones are slighly shorter, I am using the stock ones with the ball diff and the stock hubs and it works great!

Was running it in and lost the pin and barrel on one of them. hence why the dogbones are in it. They are long but work in a pinch.

ljparton-- I think a 6.5 is a little overkill but it will be fast! If you are just bashing around with it, it will be quick that is for sure. For track racing that might be a little more motor then needed and alittle hard to control for consistant laps. The tranny will hold up to a 6.5 no problem though. It is the same XXX tranny we have been using for years just with a gear diff.

Dogbones-- The XXX-T ones will not work. There is a combo of bones you can use though. You need MF2 (GenII) bones and then GENI Axles. The GENII Axles have the pin hole offset .1 further out then the GenI axles. The MF2 bones are the perfect length. So you can either run the stock CVA's or you can build rear drive shafts out of existing parts you just have to do a little mixing and matching!

You must be using the CR tranny, right? The ball diff doesn't drop in the stock gearbox, right?

Yes in order to use the bal diff you must use the cr tranny case, its a direct bolt on!

What do you think you need!

I found the link to my setup again!

http://www.petitrc.com/setup/losi/se...RC20101207.pdf

Rear hub part numbers on on there.

Then you need a 3 deg pivot.

http://www.losi.com/Products/Feature...rodId=LOSA4149
or
http://www.losi.com/Products/Feature...rodId=LOSA4126

All the graphite stuff is optional. Helps stiffen stuff up but you can run my setup with just rear hubs and the 3 deg pivot.

Dunford is running my setup with the 4 deg pivot though and really likes it that way as well. My truck goes through the center of high speed corners a little better but the current track is a lot of 180's so not a huge benefit there. He tied my best qual time on the current layout last night so his truck is very fast as well!
