Default Killed my b44 diff.

just killed the diff in my b44,so what will i need to rebuild it?It sounds like the gears are done.I will be buying a new ring and pinion tomorrow,what else will i need?

yes it does,i'm already getting the gears for it tomorrow,just wondering what else i need to replace when i rebuild the diff.How is the truggy doing?

Truggy is going strong, haven't had much time to drive it lately. Wanted to put a 1520 in it, but wouldn't fit so sold that and got a 1518, hope to put that in and get a few runs in before winter comes (which is like 2 weeks away for me LOL)

Better hurry up.My truggy doesn't even have it's motor right now.I need a 2200kv motor now.

You can download a manual offline, but generally just gears screw spring rings balls for a diff. You probably just need the gears balls and rings though

Well the car has only had about 10 packs through it,if that.so i'm thinking maybe just the gears.I will get the diff. balls for the future when i need to do a full rebuild.

If it was the rear diff check your slipper. I used to tear up rear diff gears in mine if I ran the slipper too tight.

I did adjust the slipper today.that might have caused it to tear up.I will reset the slipper with new pads because they might need to be replaced as well.The slipper and diff will be set to factory settings so i know i'm not doing anything wrong.
