Only have experience with the 8ight. Untill two weeks ago it was nitro, EU version.
I used to find the 8ight to be a little twitchy but with the recent setup changes I've made I have it were it does everything I want it to do. Hey only took me a year of driving the thing to get it were I want it.

The hyper 9e seems to be the best for me.I came from an 8ight-e to and rc8e and now to a hyper 9e.the losi 8ight-e was nearly indestructable and the rc8e was too difficult to setup correctly but the hyper 9e handles great and will turn on a dime and flies level for me in the air.The hyper 9e is very durable and the cvd's do not wear out like the ae and losi ones. And the car put down the power better because the diff is flipped backwards and pushed to the very back of the car.And the car also has a low gear ratio so it shoots out of the hole faster.

Wait for the TeknoRC V4 conversion kit which is due mid Nov. Even if you want to run both E and Nitro, Run the Mugen because you already have it and the parts will be interchangable.
This will be the "BEST" 1/8e for you.

Mugen xray and Associated are supposedly the best you can buy, but its really personal preference and your driving that will make the difference, get the look you like, or one you already have spares for.

I'm certainly not saying it's the best overall but i'd bet no one who's driven or seen one would disagree that the VE8 is the best value out there at under $250.00 and, it will hold it's own with the rest. Plus it handles great and is easy to drive fast. It gets my vote anyway.

He already had a VE8 and didn't like it. I would get the VE8 again and go with the hh chassis setup with dual packs. I run a tekno mugen and the hh ve8 and you can not go wrong with either.

I really like the mp9e, but it is a bit over-priced for what you get. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had to pay full price. It's really easy to work on, jumps great, and handles amazing. It only took a couple weeks to dial in and I have the best handling buggy out of all the non-pro guys on my team.

im my opinion the rc8be is the best. reason for saying this is because its the only buggy that you can drive smooth and rip it at the same time!! the harder you push this car the better it performs!! like having the best of both worlds

I tried a few of my friends, everything but the kyosho, and i have decided on ae if that helps, i figured i can do the same with all of them mise well stick with the ae so parts can be changed btween my truggy and buggy... Now im just waiting for it to arrive.
