The Rockstar body is black, and black makes things look skinnier, so that means black is faster.

The one with clear body is faster, it's lighter, jk.

We sell more Rockstar one than the other two because it's more popular. Also, since the factory team came out not long ago, people especially the racers started buying it. Keep in mind this is at a local hobby store, not an online store. We had 4 factory team kits and sold them out in about 2 weeks.

They are all the same exact truck underneath as well as the equipment included. The bodies are the only difference between the 3 you listed.:)

I think the Speedtech one is faster cause it actually has the word "speed." So that has to make it faster. ;)

Just a tip if you're night racing buy one that'll stand out more. I used to run a black body on my SC10, and after one night race I retired it. IMO a dark body is much harder to see your angles.

This one is best SC10 to buy:D

I built a SC10 kit and love the RC10 platform, it's a great truck overall. My 11 year old son loves my SC10 and drives it more than I do. Solution: I bought him a SC10 Brushless RTR. With the SC10 it almost makes sense to buy the RTR even if you prefer kits like I do. I can't speak about the radio because I didn't even turn it on, I pulled the receiver and put a Futaba RX in it. The receiver is TINY, it's actually perfect for a Losi mini which is where it's going.

I have a Castle Sidewinder 5700 in mine and it's pretty fast with good batteries. The Reedy 3300 motor is awesome for a RTR, it smokes my car off the line ! I think the kV rating and gearing is perfect for off road, he ran it pretty hard and it stayed cool. You could probably go up a few teeth and still have plenty of torque. The ESC is nice for a RTR also, the default settings were adequate but I'll mess around with it later. This ESC is super smooth with even a 6 cell NiMH pack, no cogging. I was skeptical of the XP branded ESC but the motor and ESC have really impressed me so far. The only thing Ill do to it is RPM arms and bumper / skid. The brushless truck seems like a great package.
