Bernie,

I did hear some guys tried it - it takes quite a bit of spacers and the need to re-drill holes on the front of the arms, if I remember correct.

It's interesting that because we are the little guy, a lot of people think they need to re-design the cars to make them look like other or follow what other companies do -- just run the car. It's pretty darn good.

Will the Hot Bodies beveled gear set fit? It's a 39/16 tooth aswell.. Looks the 16 tooth has a pin slot also...Not sure if the inner bore size of the 39 is the same..

Yes it does fit. And they are stronger material than the ones that came from the 'old factory'. If you are having rear gear issues it might be because if the case. It was redesigned at one point.

Thanks Nick, it is actually the front diff that is gone and I do have the updated Rear Gear box but haven't replaced it yet...
