Very interesting...like someone said before it does resemble the yok b-max but it does look different.

This is Johnny at the J Concepts race with his 4w, unfortunately he never got a clean lap in when I wanted to video his run.

But him and Kenny looked really good all weekend with the cars, they were right there on pace with Hartson and Ruona. Kenny should have finished second - but it happens.

I know I am a little biased - but I have been building and running 4wd r/c cars for 20 years. This thing goes together like a champ, has great drivetrain, truly enclosed gears, and plenty of suspension travel!! Solid car - great price.

Nice little video. I saw Johnny won 2wd against Hartson and Kinwald...he must be a very good driver

Well heres a couple of things

1.Cars metric. All of the screws only require 1 wrench.(except diff screw and hinge pin screws

2.completely sealed drivetrain

3.big bore shocks

4.stock setup is really good.

5.cradle where the battery goes accepts lipos alot easier than some other 4wd's on the market

6.the wing uses screws to mount it rather than bodyclips.

7.12mm hex all around. Accepts other wheels also(kyosho etc) Makes using other wheels easier. U can easily use ae wheels also.

thats just some of the good things.

Only con i would say is to shim the rear diff a lil tighter than what the manual suggest if u get one.

All cars resemble one another but thats not the point here Like I said in my first post Tedstryker the car is awesome so don't listen to all the stuff people think its a copy the fact is, is that TQ has done something with this car and all there cars which is made it handle great out of the box, made it stronger than any other 4wh drive on the market, as well as made it affordable so like I said go get one you won't be disappointed. Just listen to the facts about the car not all the other junk.

This car is by far the easiest I have ever driven. It feels slow until you look at the times.

I repeat some comments already made.
1. upgrade the diff balls
2. shim the diffs correctly
3. drive it as hard as you can and just enjoy it.

Down side is the weight, its heavier than most due to plastic tub chassis.
However there are carbon upgrades available that will help bring this down.

I will add my comments to Rob's:

- solid chassis - no worry about undertrays
- easy to adjust sllipper
- lots of room for electronics
- set up options - at the J Concepts race last weekend, Johnny ran a sway bar set up and Kenny did not - they were both fast in the A Main.

I race this car and after racing since june ive only broken a rear diff gear. Thats it. I think alot has been discussed about issues with the car etc. Make sure u shim the rear gears tighter and u should be good to go. Anymore questions pm me.

How does this car compare to the Castor SK10b which is all plastic as well but $100 less? I just did some looking & for $100 you get cvd's & big bore shocks so. The only thing I could find for this car via carbon fiber is the battery hold downs...?
