+1, i know of at least a half of dozen of us down in Florida would like to know an eta for the kit.

With the support of Ryan Lutz, in my opinion - this will be a very successful kit.
He has one of the most "honest" setup sheets out there...

Ryan, care to chime in?

Default TD DEX408

TD is not so great in the PR department. I can't tell you the last time I saw them on the DESC410R thread addressing concerns and giving updates. For that matter, Lutz hasn't even offered any constructive insight on the DESC410R and his setup.

I'd really like to run this rig once it's out...c'mon TD!

Once it is released, there will be 1000+ posts of how the ring gear is not shimmed correctly and detonates. Combine the threads for the SC, DNX408 and DEX410 and that is what you will have.

Yeah you pay a top dollar for a kit and you may expect it to be flawless in every way and gears to mesh to within .2mm with no binding but the reality is every kit needs shimming from every manufacturer and that includes real 1:1 cars. You don't need a mechanics degree or ticket to do this, just patience and an understanding of how it all works.

I believe it's only a conversion like mine, too much differences from the cad image of the original prototype...anyway it's very far from a commercial version. About a week ago I've asked to TD when the DEX will be available, they have responded that they don't have an expected release date...it will be nice just to have an approximate idea of when it will be released. I was hoping for a june release but now I believe it will be late summer(I hope). I don't know about you, but I can't wait to run one of these car and see how it will perform compared to a conversion
