Default Team associated rc8te setup

I'm setting a rc8te from scratch and was wondering if anyone out there has any idea's?
Best motor/esc?
Servo, digital/analog?

I was thinking castle creations as I want as much power as possible but not sure about which servo it will work with? Reading some of the other threads there seems like there could be issues with high voltage digital, will I need an external bec with the cc?
I'm only building it to bash with and have a little fun but would like a realiable set up that won't cook itself!

Thanks for any help...

well i would say if just having some fun etc.
get a Castle system they been out forever! and have good upgrades to where you do not need to get extra drivers for upgrades etc.
many will argue this but if you have a computer, you can upgrade your Castle system......
a 2000kv series motor on 4 ccells be good a Tekin 2000kv or other wise....
if going to use a 5 or 6 cell get a lower KV motor say a 1700kv or lower etc.
and for gearing gear it for around 35MPH to "Start" and then check your temps after about 10 min.
this is just for the basics, there is so much more but in "General"
for me i have a Tekin 2250KV in mine and it's just too much motor for racing!! great for the street, but not very good for racing......
hopefully some of this can be of some help

Tekin system is legit, lrp garbage and kershaw is cheap but good no problems withmine or friends. Tekin to race, tekin over castle bc of price, pretty muchthe same. For fun kershaw motor 4 pole 2nd gen either gen2 esc or hobbywing. Can't beat the price

Ds1015 no problems yet, sometimes noisy compared to airtronics, but it's airtronics.
