Ok guys ran my TT last night for the first time and it is doing great. Only problem I had was the left side of the steering that hooks from the link to the steering rack cracked. I saw on ebay they make a cnc steering rack and was wondering if I should do that or just stay with the stock plastic one.

Hey guys..okay I read alot and I plan to run my old Novak Havok motor, but would the Mod1 pinions work and what mm bore do I need? I don't know if it's 5 or 3mm bore?

That motor will be a 3mm shaft. You just need to get a 3mm to 5mm sleave that slides into the 5mm pinions or just buy a mod 1 pinion that is already 3mm.

Okay...so I've read a bit without going blind by reading every single post..lol!!!

So I've decided to go with a Mamba Max Pro ESC with a 4600 4 pole combo. Is that a good set up with stock pinion?

I hope the Stampede one would work on our Hyper's. I seen where some people that converted their Stampedes to truggies use a JConcepts body..but I don't know which one.

I ordered a bunch of stuff for my hyper 10TT. Got a extra 4700 Mamba motor lying around so I need to look for a MMP ESC.

Also going to try the Illuzion Punisher body for the T4 by JConcepts....kind looking forward to get this out on the track. No class yet....but would make an AWESOME basher....

From what I was reading...a lot of people are running the SCT mamba KV motor rated around 3K or so? So a 4pole might be more than enough to get her going...

I actually found a spare 4700KV (not 4 pole) and ordered a 120A HW ESC. Since I had the motor no sense in ordereing another system.

I also was planning to order a set of Proline trencher 2.8 on desperado's. Just waiting for everything to come in before I get her all together..

Yep, I think I'm gonna go with a BH 120A LT4, some random motor , and a 2s 40C 5000mah battery or so. That's called specifics.

What diff oil should I run?
