My sons TT is just way to rigid on the track bobs and bounces everywhere. What options are there for softer springs.

Track type outdoor dusty gravely at times hard packed. So soft tyres are essential but the springs need to be changed as well

Anyone suggest rims tyres combo and softer springs ?

How do you upgrade to 17mm hubs ?

What do you have your preload set at? I've found the stock shock/springs to have alot of adjustment and even tested FIRMER springs but ended up back at the stockers. I've tried suburbs and they might work better for your conditions than the clay I run on.

Beautiful...just like mine. LOL. I really need to order the CVA's I went with the sock replacement since that is what my LHS had in stock.

So far, so good.

They are just normal screws with a washer. Anything that fits should work (look at the screws that hold in the battery tray or center bulk head for replacement examples)

Check your bearings too. I had same breakage due to damage hub bearing that ended up locking on me. And the CNC hubs are not helping with bearing durability.. I switched back to plastic.

Hey

The preload is backed completely off and it's still to rigid

I just bought myself a hyper tt from here with mmp and novak 6.5t hv. how do the novak campare to castle or other motors. Should I sell the novak and purchase another motor? I am crazy for speed and torque. I will probably be getting a gen ace or sky 4s 5000mah lipo for it. I am still in building process fyi.

will the drivetrain handle these?

Default What is wrong??

Ok so here is my Hyper TT and it is running kinda weird. Here is a vid.

It has a Speed Passion GT PRO 2.0 ESC and a
Tekin SC4X 4.5T 550 motor a Savox 1258 servo. My problem is that the boost function is not kicking like it should.

As you can tell from the video I am holding it at full throttle and it kicks into boost after a few seconds. I tried a new sensor wire and will be changing out the motor to a Novak Ballistic 4.5 550 to see if it helps. I am also running the current firmware on the ESC and the settings are the ones from Speed Passions website for the SCTE Losi truck. I tried a new sensor cable and it still does the same thing. As you can see in the vid it is cutting out right before the boost kicks in.

Setup I am using http://www.speedpassion.net/uploadfi...20Walt%20G.jpg

Am I pushing the ESC too hard with the 4.5??

If you have any thoughts please let me know.

I can only comment on the tire question. From prior reading of multiple forum posts on this subject.. no. The axles break from the larger high bite tire..

Hyper TT with SC Kyosho DRT body, Traxxas front body mount, Losi SC wheels and tires. Used the wing mount as rear body mount, same chassis and all.
