Noob question:
What effect would replacing the rear dogbones with CVA's have on the car? Does it change the handling much?

I'm tired of searching the track for my lost dogbones.

It shouldn't change much at all, you just won't have to chase bones any more!

hi all, bit of a noob question here, I've run about 6 packs through my tt, first time at off road and its a blast, my tt has a 550 novak ballistic motor 4.5 turn, with a 15t pinion, and its getting rather hot, as in cant touch it hot... so is this normal or do I need to go down some teeth? btw its got a xerun 120a esc if that makes any difference, but that stays at room temp no matter what.

A Novak 4.5T 550 on 2s with a 20T pinion should pull wheelies?

[QUOTE=antonio_cadiz;8581246]hello!

Why would you use this? In some cases, the crown gear to diff pinion is tight. You use these shims to move the crown away to loosen it up.

Where do you put?
I put one on the outdrive on the side opposite the crown gear to push it away from the pinion.

I need stiffer springs which model to buy

A lot of racers I know are using these...

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...t-Blue-406-N-M

You have to be careful though. When you open the package, you'll find two different sizes. The shorter set is used in the front. It is also suggested to cut 1 1.2 coils off of the front springs to use on the Hyper TT.

Hope all this info helps

I think your spot on, that was exactly what I was thinking, currently running 3-5-2 good but not great, going to try 1-5-1 and hoping that's going to be the ticket!!
