thats what I am going to run in one, ithink the 550 is way overboard, and you are not getting top end out of the deal.

I went with the novak 4.5 550 can motor. Awesome braking and tons of low end power. Getting about 15 minutes to a battery, 2s 20c lipo. Reason i went with that motor is, i also plan to run it in a bigger SC truck here soon.

How do the 6.5 540 motors compare to the 4.5 550 ? Quicker and lighter and warmer? My 4.5 ballistic HV seems a little weak at the top end, I was expecting more.

How are you guys mounting the RX8? The servo plate is too small for it.

Tim Dunn from Nitro House mounted his RX8 on top of the servo, no problem at all.

I had no heat issues at all with the 6.5, 540 motor. I dumped the whole 5200mah pack and the motor was 133 degrees and speedo was 108.

How do the 6.5's stack up against the 4.5 550 performance-wise?

Which 13.0 tekin rotor did you get? There's two versions: TT2273 or TT2277(HT aka high torque?)?

I ran the high torque. My speed was fast...Nobody beat me down the straight.

Thanks!

One more question: Are you using the 5mm to 3mm adapter from OFNA or the 3mm mod 1's?
