Mamba Max Pro and Digital Servos
#16
Just purchased a Savox digital servo and it would not work with the MMP I had to get the CCBEC and now works fine. A decent servo for the money! Very fast at 6v and 160oz torque is not over kill for an SC.

Its a crap shoot. It may work fine or it may cut out. I have 2 MMPs that work with bls451's and jr 8800t, and I have 1 MMP that I had to put the glitch buster on so it would work with a ko 2153 servo. It's very frustrating with these speedo's. I tried them for the price option to support the local shop and put them is my jammin sct, ft sc10, and Blitz, then tried one in a vintage Schumacher cougar 2 works buggy for the vintage nationals and it wouldn't work without a capacitor. Older digital servo but flawless operation with all other speedo's. I'll hang onto my MMPs in the short course stuff as they seem to be working ok right now, but everything else is getting Speedpassion installed as I have never had a problem with any Speedpassion I have ever run.

Does anyone here have pictures as to how they soldered it on?
I am running a MMP with Castle BEC. Soldered the BEC to battery cables. Then plug it into the Spektrum RX in the Bind location of a SR300.
I have to unplug then plug the BEC back in every time I turn on my truck.
Is there a way around this?
Thanks in advance!
