welcome back! Good to see that some can't stay away, like I know I couldn't...

Are you buying the Factory Team GT? RTR? RTR I'd lose the motor for something else... and the radio...

Every so often I think I find another one I can last at, I always end up back here...

RPM I believe makes some Aftermarket arms and such for the GT, and you could get CVDs if it doesn't have them already...

When you say .16 it sounds like a megatech motor. If it is the 1st thing you need to due is seal up the carb on that motor.
(Not very good motor's to be honest)but will due for now.
Take the carb off and use black silicone at the throat or sleeve of the motor itself where the carb installs.Slide the carb back on,tighten the screw and let it sit for 24-36 hours before you run it again.Use a fuel with HIGH oil in it to help this motor. If you are just starting back up I would make sure the motor is prelubed before starting and maybe add oil and loose performance for a bit till you get back in the swing of things. It will help that motor ALOT.
Good to have you back in the hobby and enjoy yourself.
