Hey boys! Robb wanted me to let you know about the Gobbler Off Road Champs we have coming up on Nov 23rd. We'll have a new layout for this event and we should have a huge turnout for this one.

With the huge turnouts we've had at this event in past years, the Gobbler is one of our most popular events of the year. The timing is really great to kick off the Indoor Off Road Electric Season at RCE. The race turnouts have been great this year and I expect with the new tracks in Waterbury CT and Foxboro MA and the ever strong presence of the boys from NY we'll have a huge number of racers attending this years GOBBLER.

The racing takes place on our 50' x 100' R/C Moto-X arena with huge elevation changes, big jumps, and a layout the will challenge you to get around fast. There will be a lot of ups and down with this years layout that will make for some great racing.

Classes offered are:

* Modified Truck
* Modified 4WD Buggy
* Modified 2WD Buggy
* LIMITED Truck
* LIMITED Buggy
* SLASH

40' driver's stand that sets you high above the action to see the whole track.
There are 100+ heated pit spaces with power and chairs.
Awards will be given to the top three in all mains.
Food will be available on-site.

Race Fees are:
$25 for the first class
$15 for each additional class.
Plaques for top 3 in ALL Mains

Race Day Schedule and Information:

* Doors open at 8:00 AM
* Sign-ups end at 10:00 AM
* MANDATORY Driver's Meeting 10:15 AM
* Racing starts at 10:30 AM

That is not the actual price. That is MSRP. The actual price will be around the same as the current SP price. Don't spread misinformation.

Man where do I start!!! I'm glad to hear everybody had a great time. I'd like to thank everyone who came. We had 90 entires it was a lot of racing. I'd like to thank the out of towners for coming down, hope to see you guys soon. I know we will be making our way to a race near you soon. With the great response we had we might just put together a few more 1 day races in addition too the 2 full weekend races we always have.

I'd like to congratulate all the winners, good show. Js that was fun in 4wd maybe next time we can do it like that in 2wd as well. Also i'd like to thank all the racers for being on time and ready to race. I really never want to dock someone a lap for not being ready to marshall. Thanks you for not forcing me to do so. It allows us to run a smooth show and get everybody on their way home at a resonable time. I should have results up soon.
