How much is the Orion Lathe they sell at the hobby shop? Looking into buying one, and considering its the one everyone uses i figured it would be best. Also if its not that great is there any others i should look into?

Is there any way to tell if tapers are red or pink besides the little colored dot? I made the stupid mistake of not labeling which were pink and which were red cause I thought I was just going to throw them out anyway.

run them, the ones that feel better are most likely pink if they are in similar wear condition.

It's a little late to ask this, but what are the hours on weekdays? I was thinking about going tomorrow, and I checked the site to see if they're closing earlier than they used to because they open at 12. It says they close a 2pm. I think this is just a typo, but I'm just chcking before I make the trip out there.

edit- forget it, they must be open to 8, they wouldnt open for 2 hours.

Hey guys. Maybe you can help me out. I own a few nitros and an HPI 1/18th scale on road. After going to th LI raceway, Im interested in getting an off road buggy to race there. Can you guys lead me in the right direction on what truck to purchase. There are so many options out there and I would like it if you can narrow it down for me a little. Thanks

HAVE YOU DRIVEN ON ANY TRACKS OR JUST BASHING WITH THE NITROS. IF YOU HAVE DRIVEN ON A TRACK BEFORE GET A BUGGY AS YOU HAVE MORE OPTIONS EX. NOVICE, 19T, MOD WHEN BECOMING A BETTER DRIVER. WITH TRUCK ITS JUST NOVICE, AND MOD. I WOULD SAY GET A B4/T4 IF YOU ARE JUST STARTING OUT AS YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO MUCH TO THE CAR AND IT STILL GETS AROUND THE TRACK WELL. A LOSI NEEDS A LOT OF TUNING TO RUN RIGHT BUT IS GREAT IF YOU ARE AN AGGRESSIVE DRIVER LIKE ME.
