if anyone going to conn. on saturday has room for one more let me know. cant race friday but would like a change for a day. what tires do they run up there?

any1 want to tell me how to replace the senor wire on a novak 10.5

the orange wire broke of the little plug and as i took it out of the plastic plug i lost it

I think you have to send it to novak to get it repaired.

I use JConcepts Rounder's in the front, Double Dee's in the rear of 2wd, Double Dee's all around in 4wd. I think Losi red 8 ribs in the front and Red King Pins in the rear for truck.

I had the same thing happen to me, but I didn't want to send it back to Novak for repairs. What I did works, but looks kind of crappy.

I took an LRP sensor wire and cut the plug off of the end, leaving enough wire to work with so I could strip, splice and solder. Then I cut the old plug off of the Novak motor and spliced the wires into the new plug.

Like I said, it doesn't look great, but works well.

NOVAK SUCKS with this problem they will not fix it, if you send in old one they give you SMALL credit towards new or remanufactured. if you try what Andrew did and make a mistake you could fry your speed controlleronce again NOVAK SUCKS

You're right, their service department sucks compared to LRPs, but I love the Novak 10.5, it is a great motor.

Well anyway goodesta you should have andrew help you with it so you dont fry your BL esc.

I am gonna get the new orion race motor when it comes out. Probably a 10.5
