Mike I think you better do some research on tires...I asked around and no one runs slicks there...pink tapers and pink fronts dremmelled down. Sounds just like LIR .

Bob,

Just an FYI... you may want to have a set of pink slicks handy for the first run or two if you are there on thursday. The track is very wet at first and the slick will hook up pretty well on the wet track.

You won't use those for racing and and most likely for practice either but it is good to have a set to just to drop the car down when the track is really wet.

Yo Mike, what are you talking about slicks only at CRCRC, you've been there before......you know its worn out tapers and worn out 02 fronts. I think I onlt tryed slicks once there and I was like the first car on the track.

You can run slicks at the warmup race because the track is fresh, but they stop working after a few hours of practice on friday the week of the race. Last year, Jesse ran tapers about halfway worn down and 7205P dremeled halfway down for mod day.
