Default SC10 Turnbuckles?

Who makes the strongest front and rear turnbuckles for the Team Associaed SC10? Also, are the titanium turnbuckles by Team Associated stronger than the steel or just lighter? I keep bending the stock steel ones and need something stronger/better. Thanks!

Titanium is stronger and lighter than steel. My b4.1 stock turnbuckles bent a lot to until i upgraded them. Haven't had a problem since.

By volume steel is stronger than titanium. By weight titanium is stronger than steel.

Ti Turnbuckles are generally much much better than the steel ones that come in most kits. The Associated FT blue turnbuckles are very good, but I personally prefer Lunsford over AE. You'll bend/break much less Ti turnbuckles than steel. They're one of the better upgrades you can make right up there with threaded shock bodies.

I've been runnin some 3Racing titanium turnbuckles on my SC10 most of the season and they've held up great....no concrete drainpipe collisions or anything though to really stress test them

Hit something hard and a steel turnbuckle will bend

Hit something harder and a titanium turnbuckle will snap

Titanium's a lot stiffer than steel, but it won't show its fatigue the way steel does. When you bring titanium to its failure point, most of the time it just lets go.

In all seriousness, Lunsford or nothing.

Have a set of Lunsfords on the B2 that still gets driven *occasionally* and they've been on there damn near 15 years. Never had a break.

As you can see, ThunderbirdJunkie can't drive for shit.
