Unknown Motor, and WIERD Brushes! Look!

Hey I found this old Pink motor in a box from when I moved, and I was looking at it, and took the brushes out, and they're really odd!

The have like an L - shaped cut out of it... well... take a look at the pictures, I've never seen anything like it...?

Also if anyone knows what this motor is, please let me know... I believe it's a stock, but it really doesn't sound like it has the RPM of any stock... way low...

If it helps any, the Endbell says EPIC on it.
Thanks,
Jeff

Sorry for the blurriness, it's too damn small to take a clear picture and a closeup picture at the same time!

If you can, notice the L in the brush, it's like someone carved it out, but there's no cut marks or anything...??

maybe this will help you see it...

The brushes are "timed" brushes, cut in "l" shape to effectivly advance the motors timming.

The motor will be an old Trinity Monster Stock from the 90's. I had pink one like in in the early 90's, it could even be a 36deg stocker. Cant remember the name but it was related to the Joel Magic Johnson line.

Trinity Pink can stock motor, 36' timing with cut brushes, sealed endbell, fixed timing. These motors were sold by LOTS of companies just like trinity do today. I could never get on with the 36 stock motors of that time, prefering the 24' stock.
