If you only race and don't bash during the week, I would speak w/ the guys running your track.. if they like you, maybe, just maybe they would let you keep your equipment right at the track just get it all in a big tool box tote type holder w/ a lock on it and shove it in the corner in the back of the store/facility. Why move it if you don't have to

Just have your wife/girlfriend follow you in the mini-van with all your gear

I don't know how crafty you (or your GF/wife) are, but here is what I would try. Buy one of the Dialed-In Short course carry bags like the one I found at Amain Hobbies; they look like this.

Then find a cheap magnetic tank bag like this...

...and graft the wings onto the bottom of the truck bag. I looked at my tank bag and it looks like the wings could be easily be removed and sewn onto something else as one peice making for a clean look.

This would allow you the ability to carry all of your other stuff in a backpack. Obviously some measuring would need to be done to make sure your truck would fit lengthwise on your tank while allowing you the room to still ride the bike safely, but if your trip to the track is relatively short, this might work really slick. Just my $.02
