The goosebumps are ok, its the blue foam in the subculture, The proline foam is to narrow, same with the aka.

Thats one reason we use AKA inserts and tires in most all cases.

I have never had an issue with AKA and once you release the new tires, I doubt I'll run anything else!

I was planning on picking up some Double Dees but I'm leary now that ther are problems reported with the foams.

What would be a good alternative to a DD that I could get for a race in two weeks? I'd love to try the AKA gridiron but it won't be out in time.

Pro-Line Holeshot in M3, Gonna be a new surprise that should be out before the gridiron is at the end of this month.

Yes, Subculture foams, mine "popped" within minutes, called and was told "we never have had any problems", was told to "call back" due to the unavailability of replacement foams, WHAT? First time, last time.
Proline all the way. great products, great service, high end tech. support.

IMO you are better off using Acetone to remove thm if you had problems before with baking. (Unless they are clay compound tires.)

Why they insist on those stupid sidewall foams I have no idea. Mold the sidewalls in the tire like everyone please. Their own closed cell replacement foams don't even fill the tire out completely.

My friend and I just baked 2 set's of subculture's and goosebumps with the blue foam, and the foam shrank and lost their thickness. Diameter was fine but now there is a gap between tire and foam. they came off perfectly but the foam burnt

Now what is good foam to buy for my 2.2-3"wheels?

Panther Orange closed cell foam is really good. That's what I run, but then again I run panther tires also.
