Default MMP + tekin 2050= Cool motor hot esc, Help?

OK finally after getting my conversion done i took it out to test the buggy, ran it for about 2 minutes.. Mmp was hot (about 135* when i got the temp gun out and temped it) motor was sitting at 110*

I was running long straight passes so that might have been part of the issue.

im geared at 15/45 and MMP was set at everything stock In a losi 8ight 2.0

is this normal running or do i have a esc heat issue and what can i do to fix it?

What are you running this in? Are you sure your geared 15/75. That sounds really wrong. Should be more like 15/46 or 15/48 for 1/8th scale if that is what you are using.

What batteries you using, surface you are running on, weight of your ready to run setup, etc.

these temps are fine. when the esc hits 150, the fan will come on automatically and will cool it pretty quickly. the max temp for both the motor and esc is about 200F.

Im using 5000 mah 40c Thunder power's

right now i was just doing speed runs in my parking lot but normally it would be used on an 1/8th scale track which is pretty big.

Dunno on the weight tho dont have a scale to check.

temp is fine just make sure before every run that your fan is working or you will toast it fast. I run MMP and 1900tekin in my Hyper 9e 4s 5200mh.

The T8 don't like MMP " Haha just Kidding" maybe try a 40c 5200mah 3s. That's what I run, never see temps above 130 on my ESC.
