Going backwards to forwards.

Question about Pricing: Answer is I am not sure of as they are still compiling the costs of manufacturing since there is way more attention to detail and cnc parts than any car in the past that we have done as Caster. I figured getting the box print done was more pressing. Trust me, it will be worth the price, but at the same time, it is a Caster only by name at this point. The aura that we had and have been fighting should be gone beginning now.

Complaint about Weight: Answer is We thought of that.

We have a rtr that is very similar parts wise that is virtually entirely plastic. Therefore, if you think the pro car is too heavy and a particular part(s) are not required for durability, you can economically replace the aluminum ones with plastic or just get the rtr car and upgrade to aluminum or carbon parts to your heart's content.

or option 2 is....

We will have a complete line of carbon fiber made for all the 2 dimensional parts on the pro car which will include the chassis plate, towers, upper deck, etc..... all made in the United States to exacting standards by a member of our rc community.

Also, I noticed that the rtr comes with swaybars so they will be available as an option if not included with the kit (since someone commented that swaybars are the only thing missing).

I also might decide to make the ultimate 1/10 scale with the best of the best of everything we offer, but it will be a special order only item that will be big $$$ but it will be completely loaded up and ready to win with.

We currently do not have any dealers in NJ as far as I am aware. You should become one or contact your lhs to pre order some of these today.

BTW, I edited my above post with more words to clarify what I was talking about.....

I also want to discuss the term "sniper". That name was chosen by me for a few different reasons.

1.) A lot of people who have driven our cars have always said that they can put our cars wherever they want on the track and how it is like a precision instrument. Considering you have to look over a distance and have to have precision accuracy in the military and exert great control, it fits similarily. As a matter of fact, one of the new logos on the redesigned forums that are coming soon use the scope as a symbol.

2.) Some of you know that we are actively involved with the military for soldiers overseas and with educational programs for children of soldiers which is headed up by Jon Walden. He has purchased several rc cars from us to benefit them in a fun environment while at the same time learning engineering, electrical, and mechanical skills on a reasonably small scale basis. So as a form of honor to all of our military friends and families, I am using the name and thinking of them.

3.) It sounds more BA over here.....

Is the chassis tunable for roll center, kick up, caster, anti squat, etc?

Hard to see the roll center adjustment on the pics...maybe it is shim-based for roll center?

That is my guess. It looks like you can raise the inner camber link mount for roll center.

Looking forward to getting my hands on a RTR and a PRO so I can mix and match parts for the ultimate 4wd!

I wonder if Damon can make the chassis so one of the lexan under chassis that is currently available on a 4wd buggy will fit?

I am not sure BUT I figured out how he can make a chassis plate that can reverse the motor mount for a second option.

Guess what that means?

W LR Tire Motor ESC Servo LF Tire
I
N
G RR Tire 2S LIPO StickPACK RF Tire

Saddle or Normal battery. An exclusive first from Caster Racing USA.

I can't wait to see one in real life. I got a RTR prototype and it is really nice. I can see a lot of the racers who like plastic only wanting these.
