Angry Whats up with Panther Foams

Just go a pair of Switch SCT tires from Panther today. What the hell is up with there foams? They are bigger than the outside of the tire.Just sucks to pay $18 for a pair of tire only to have to buy foams to use with them also.

Welcome to RC racing! If I had $1 everytime I bought tires only to buy different foams to run IN that tire, I'd be rich! Get used to it! It isn't going to change either!

Have you tried fitting the foams inside the tire? I bet they're fine.

Did you try to put together the tire and insert with out glue to get an idea of the fit? We just mounted up a set with Grey firm inserts and there was no issue at all.

The Panther foams are awesome they just have to be trimmed like every other 1/10th scale foam.

Maybe I got a bad set then. These would fit fine if I cut 3/4 of an Inch out of them and reglue.Just not sure I want to do that.Foams are like putting round peg in a square hole.
