Default New Hyper 9E with Tekin 1700/RC8 - need batt advice please

Hi. Just bought a Hyper 9E roller and a Tekin Redline 1700/RC8 combo. Need to know what batts I can run with it that will a) fit in the buggy nicely and b) give me good power/low heat/efficiency (basically everything good). I've read that 1700s need 4s but will 5s work?

I run tracks that average 30-60 seconds with nitro buggies.

Thanks.
Steve

I have no experience with Tekin 1700, but from my Tekin 1900 experience I am pretty sure you need to go for 5S lipo. That will give you plenty of power. I even use 5S with the 1900

4 or 5s will work with that motor.
