Then you shouldn't get a 4x4 anything....The inherent nature of 4x4 requires quite a bit of maintaining.

That is very true ... and that is true of all 4wd. Alot of pre-maintence goes
a long way.

I don't do much maintenance to my 1/8th buggy and Truggy and they both run like champs. Also, sc class will be just a fun race class for me. So, which ever of the two that requires less maint is what I prefer.

Slash Platinum Edition / Ultimate hands down. Run it right out of the box
with very little problem's. That was in my experience atleast.

Just to make the selection more interesting, I heard Losi got a 4x4 in the works as well as Associated. Soon there will be a lot of tough choices.

I prefer the jammin for racing and the slash 4x4 for bashing. My jammin can handle way better than the slash i had but couldn't be as durable as a slash if it tried. If you are gonna race and bash get the slash 4x4 ultimate with proline m3 calibers premounted on split six rims.

kinda, rc monster has the brushless converson, then get the truck and RPM front and rear bumper from 4x4 slash, and do a few other small stuff and then you have a losi 4x4 SCT

pm me if you want more detailed info about it or if you have questions
