I'm about to by the Airtrinics MX-3X.
Was looking at Futaba and Spectrum also. From all the stuff I read, the young sister of the M11X pulled me in.
I don't have anything but an old Futaba fm radio to compare it with, when it comes in.
I'm hoping I made a good choice.

I am kinda surprised the Airtronics seems to be more of a favorite. Leaning that way myself.

I say Futaba 3PM-X. Been using the original 3PM Fasst system since they hit the market. Been a great radio for me. Not $399.99 like the 4PKs but I admit
the 4PKs is a really nice radio. But I cant see spending more than $200 on
a radio. And the 3PM has been relaible and quicker and smoother than my spectrum stuff.
I use both, but the Futaba for the money is better.

The MX-3X has a far faster transmit time from what I have read.

My friend has the MX-3X and I use the 3PM-X. The airtronics is quite a bit heavier if weight is a consideration. I've been a Futaba guy since I stared racing in the mid-90s. Most recently owned the 2PL-2.4ghz radio, sold it and used a Chinese knock off for about a month and went back to the Futaba stuff.

Have also used KO Propo stuff back in the day. Always gravitate back to Futaba.

Just my $.02.
