With a 5000mah lipo you should get 20+ minutes.

My lipos just came in from hobbyking.Me and some friends ordered six lipos $19 a lipo, flitemax zippy 4000 mah 25c.shipping was $27 but we split that. All the packs came in about 3.8 volts per cell.I just spent the day at the track with my blitz using these batteries and with no hickups, plenty of punch and charged and balanced great.Prior to these packs I used $100 reedy 5000 mah 20c.So far the flitemax lipos are just as good or even better than the reedy power wise.

Motor will last as long as you don't run it in certain types of dust. I had my stock motor for maybe 6 indoor races run fine but then took it to Buffalo at the Glenwood outdoor track and the dust in the area eats brushed motors, had to order a new one.

For my blitz, I've been using a Zippy hardcase 5000mAh but had to modify the chassis a little due to the wire routing from the top-edge of the battery.
