Timing: 0
Start power: 0
Punch control: 25%
Curves: Linear (stock)

Radio:
Throttle expo: 35%

I haven't tried the new firmware with the torque control, but I guess you'd like to turn down some of the torque if you run a buggy.

I'm not going to dnload the new FW until Castle releases the promised newer version and its proven that the bugs have been fixed. Seem to be a conflict now between punch and torque copntrol and startup isn't as smooth as has been (some cogging).

I use the same setting as above, but punch at 0, but I'm not racing either.

Stock.

You can adjust the Throttle punch and brakes and other things from any decent controller much easier and reverse them at a moments notice better than doing them in the ESC.

Depends on the radio you have. It's negative on my Sanwa and it was positive on my old Spektrum. You want it smooth in the beginning anyway. Just try 100% and then look which one it the smoothest. Then lower it to 25-50% (depending on how tight the track is or whatever you prefer)

Timing: lowest
Start power: lowest
Punch control: 10-25%
Curves: Linear (stock)
Brakes: disabled (mechanical)

I may reduce my throttle EPA for long mains to get a little more out of my packs racing vs nitro.

I just downloaded the latest firmware last night. I didn't do the motor torque test you need to use the torque control but I will do it next week after I race.

I have similar settings

Either Low or Lowest timing
Start power Low
Punch control 30%
Throttle expo 40%

I use:
Start power low
Punch 25%
little bit of expo

Seems pretty standard.

Good info here. Can you guys also add the car, gearing and Battery you are running?

I have 2 setups with this combo

Truggy:
Mugen MBX6T with ESC settings stock, 5S battery and 15/46 gearing. I don't really know how it runs yet because I have to rebuild my front diff.

Buggy:
O'Donnell Z01E ESC settings stock, 4S battery and 14/whatever the stock center diff. gear is. I just got this and haven't been to the track yet. I've used it in my yard and street and it's fast yet controllable.

I think getting the gearing right is the hardest part.
