-Can design with cooling holes built in...
-High Temp rotor coating...
-Wrinkle finished can for maximum surface area and cooling...
-Heatsink shaped endbell...
-Highest Quality elctrical components...
-Compact and lightweight design, lighter than other motors...
-Arguably the best looking motors available...
-A motor from a small company that cares more about quality than quantity...

But don't take my word for it... try one yourself!

Where do you order them, and what do they cost?

Here is my official take on 550 motors and 8th scale motors...

There is NO regulation from any sanctioning body or rules committee anywhere on construction, design, or number of turns for these classes. Therefore, no matter how good of a motor I can build, someone else can go one step farther and build something faster.

I put my main focus into 540 brushless Spec motors. Classes where you are very limited on what you can do, due to very specific counstruction guidelines, and minimal allowed variables.

Until there is a 10.5 turn 550 class, or a 6.5 turn delta wound 8th scale class, or anything similar to this as far as regulation of motor design and specs are concerned, I WILL NOT EVEN BEGIN TO LOOK INTO BUILDING THESE TYPES OF MOTORS.

So till then, please enjoy my 540 Sensored brushless motors!

Happy Racing! Remember, we are playing with toy cars and this should be fun!

Great point of view....from that I take it your more into racing. I have really good luck with 540 13.5 motors w/ a high torque rotor. I currently run Novak's since they are readily available.
Are your motor's able to use a HT rotor.....what's your thought's on them?

matt has been testing these motors for well over a year and i know this because i teted a coupke for him and he has come up with the very best rotor for the can and wind that it is in. once u get this motor i wouldnt touch it because from expierence matt knows his shit. once u recieve it put it in ur car and watch it fly and im not exagerating

I really like the 13.5 w/ a big rotor.....it really suit's my driving style. I like the natural drag brake that a bigger rotor give's you, not bringing up the temp's in return. Plus the added torque for the launching off the ramp, and any up hill section's. It bring's the kv down a little to help on run time's...
there are just so many positive's. In my driving style that is.
