Default RC8 Big Bor Dilemma

I have aluminum shocks from the RC8 and I have much fatter shocks that came with my RC8e that look like plastic body versions of the big bores and have metal caps.

Should I use the RC8 shocks even though they are narrower but with metal shock bodies or stick with the stock fatter rc8 shocks with plastic bodies?

I blew my front shock recently the cap cracked off slightly and shot out all of the oil. It was a major jump though and they lasted a long time much worse.

What do you guys think?

BigBores make a big difference?

since you already have the 16mm shocks, buy the metal bodies and 10 hole tapered pistons from ae. this setup works great to absorb the extra weight of these electric cars
