Default 7.5T Novak brushless gear ratio

Hello. I have Novak 7.5 brushless motor and im new to it. I would like to ask how much average RPM on a track should I have to run for a good regime. I calculated it and it was 9000RPM at local track with recomended gear ratio. Its only 1/4 of unloaded turns. We have much very slow parts and 3 20 meters straights.

Nobody knows? I dont have time to find this out before the race starts and dont want to cook wind. 9.5 final drive ratio is recomended by novak but dunno on what track config. 1/4 of max motor RPM as average RPM of the track at novak recommended gear ratio is maybe too low.

What are you going to put it in? Truck, Buggy, 4wd? Tire size make a difference.

2wd Buggy start with 9.5.
2wd Truck = 11.0
4wd = 9.5

It depends on the track size if you need to change to a bigger or smaller pinion. Keep a check on the motor temp.

Thanks for reply. Its a 2wd buggy. We have alot of slow parts on this track and average speed is around 16km/h. I dont have many pinions to change.

This is that track:
