Default HOBBYWING XTREME STOCK ESC

Hi guys it's me again

Just some info about the xtreme stock esc .

1.Smaller unit
2.Lighter
3.3/4 aluminum case
4.If your using boost and the turbo function , the esc can only support
8.5T motor and above example 10.5T 17.5T etc
5.If you disable the boost and the turbo function which is not needed
for modified racing , you can use a Motor down to a 5.5T excellent for off road and on road applications.

Using the boost on mod motors is undrivable and all it's going to do is not only kill your mod motor but also your esc and that will void warranty .

thanks guys .

regards Angelo

Who has this ESC in the USA? Hobbypartz shows nothing. Whats the US pricing. Its frustrating cuz you see all the ads and press releases and no listing or anything of who distributes them in the US?
And dont tell me Hobbypartz they are always out of everything.

The first small shipment hit Australia a few weeks ago. I believe that another shipment is on its way and should be available soon.

If you turn the turbo off you can go down to 5.5. With the turbo on you can run 8.5. I am using the 120a with a 8.5, I have mild turbo setting on and have no issues with heat (as long a I solder everything correctly- long story) in my TQ 4wd.

The Xtreme does have a smaller footprint than the 120a and 60a.

You really don't need the turbo unless you are running on a huge track for modified.

I have been waiting to hear more info on this ESC. I see nothing but adds on this guy in RCDriver and have wanted to get my hands on one ever since. All those that carry HobbyWing do not have these in stock. I am also interested in their new Short Coarse specific combos they have advertised. Hopefully these guys get around to selling in the states since they advertise so much.

i've had one in my watch list for a while.

i've had great luck with the 60amp esc's, just might have to try this one out.

I used the 60A when I did development work on the TQ SC truck, it was really nice to have that turbo function using a 17.5!!!!!

They make really nice stuff. Easy to use, just be smart with your set up - I think I out engineered my self recently.
