A friend of mine had some bk bars and he put them in acetone and he was awear if this. When he pulled then out he didn't bother with them. They kinda got hard and he sprayed buggy grip on them and threw them in a bag then they where fine.

I recently just tried the acetone , but I covered the tires . They seem fine but gonna try some Sticky Kicks to soften them up .
