Tamiya

I am a big Tamiya fan my self and always on the lookout when it comes to Tamiya releasing a new R/C kit being it a touring car, a truck, a semi or, or....whatever it is I welcome it
But will we see Tamiya releasing a short course truck? I do not know, all (I think) R/C manufactures, but Tamiya, has a short course truck in there product range. Maybe Tamiya will cave in and follow suit?
Well, they do have a similar 1/10 based truck on the TA-02 touring car chassis (a Ford, a Chevy and a Toyota) but that was years ago. I believe the Ford is still available from Towers.
The Tokyo HobbyShow is only a few months away (october I believe) maybe we will see a new line up of some sort. I can wait.
As for my self, I wait on the release of the 1/8 801Xe. Tamiya has it in the works, and the buggy is doing races, so it is only a matter of time. I hope
Best Regards

I own three Tamiya's, I have a soft spot for them since back in 1983 my dad bought me a Grasshopper. I recently bought one for my 5 year old son and it's been the best R/C out of all of them I have, it never breaks (slow as shit but tons of fun). Not to mention the kits are fun to build, I bought a DF-03 for my 8 year old son and a DB-01 for me last year, for the price all the Tamiya stuff has been great. Parts support can't be a bit difficult but if you expect it when purchasing it's a non-issue.
I would like to see a SC truck from them on the TRF line, I think it would be awesome but a bit pricey. But if they did come out with one, I would be inline to buy it.
My DB-01
My sons Grasshoppa

cant see it being that hard to convert a 201x into a truck. After all the T4 is based off the B4 with longer shocks, and maybe longer chassis(not sure)
