Hi Kyle,

Can you please post your QLD titles setup here or let us know where we can find it?

Thanks,
Adrian

Kyosho seems to be the best options hands down. 70, 75 springs on the front and 65,70 on the rear. What I have found is that if there is any traction at all the best setup to me is 75 ft and 70 rear. The 70/65 springs seems to give good traction, but when you push it to the edge it seems to let go. If the traction is very low I go with 70/65.

+1

I have also gone down to 65/60 on a slick indoor track, but it was really slick.

75, 70, 65, 60? I'm running an SP with big bores, and x-gear and/or avid springs... what I am hoping to learn, is what to use to get x-gear and/or avid springs to fit the rear of the truck, as they are too short. (some sort of spacer for the shock collar, or spring cup, is needed).

oh my bad, the avid springs are designed for the ae shocks which are different lengths then the kyosho, the kyosho shares shock length on the rear of buggy with the front truck springs where as the ae uses rear buggy shocks on the rear of their trucks and a shock that is a different length in the front. so the avid rear springs would fit the front of the kyosho only.

the rears certainly aren't the same length as the buggy. I run the yellow X-gear rear springs on my buggy (which fit fine), and they are too short on the SC-R SP. The collar is completely off the bottom of the threads, and the truck is still a tad too low. Holding the springs side by side off the car, they are well over an inch shorter than the kit rears.

I tried Avid AND the yellow X-gears, and both are too short for the rear shocks on the SP.

sometimes red rears
Are these the springs you are running?

they do make a xgear yellow ront for the truck maybe you have those i tried to put the kyosho truck bb springs on the sc1o and they where too long so i used kyosho buggy rears on the sc10 and they fit perfect thats all i know. i'm not trying to argue with you i'm tellin you what i know. i also know your best bet is to run kyosho springs on your scr, they may cost more but they are worth it. i ran yellows alll the way around on my scr and that truck was great

Hi, can I use HPI's Maxxis Trepador tyres on my stock SCR rims? No fitting issues?

seemed like a good fit to me when I put a set together last year, and they look cool, never ran em though. I recall messing with foams to get the feel I wanted.

I'll make a pair out of delrin for ya at work on Monday. I have BBs and buggy springs for the diameters. How long do you want them? You help quite a few ppl on here...just helping you out. PM me you address.
