I think my MMM is fried :(
Hi I have recently run into some very frustrating issues with my MMM esc. When I plug in my two 5250 3s LiPo’s/switch on my transmitter allI get is steering servo sound—not even a response from the motor or anything. The only lights that flash on the esc is a very dim solid red light. I tried the castle link and the only way I was able to get my computer to recognize it was to connect the batteries and turn on my esc while connected to the computer but it still gave me an error message.I am pretty confident that my ESC is totally fried and am just hoping that maybe there is a solution for my problem that you guys might know about . Any help would be appreciated.

Something seems wrong with your transmitter settings or youe esc isnt calibrated correct. Solid red light = brakes applied...
Make sure you have max EPA on the throtlle channel and trims at neutral. Then recalibrate the ESC.

Fried I would think. You dont need the batteries hooked up for the castle link to work. Mine did the same thing as yours and I replaced it. It had a bad cap from what I saw when I took it apart. Joe from Castle took care of it.

Ok. Since it'snot under warranty anymore, is it possible to try to fix this myself?

^^^ not going to work - the date is stamped on the inside on the esc and Castle asks for a sales slip on top of that for warranty work. If its a V3 version, you have the repair option for $70 where they will fix it replace the whole thing as long as you have a core to send them.
Castle has a set repair procedure on their site that you have to go thru, if you just send it to them, you're likely to just get it back. They don't do anything without paperwork.
