Default does any one know?

hey guys i have a question and im sure some one here has tried it or may have the two to compare... i would like to know if the e revo tranny will fit into the slayer chassis? ive looked at the expoded views and it looks like four bolts hold them both to the chassis but just curious if it would fit without much problem.

that would get rid of mechanical breaks and possibly some extra weight... does anyone know?

Not easily... but with some custom work and some new holes maybe, but the slayer tranny is basically the same as the revo, for the most part..

PS I would just use the e-revo chassis and get the slayer parts on it arms bumper etc.. they should drop right on will need erevo center shafts etc but way way easier and really better too.. no need for custom motor mounts and custom battery trays etc. etc. shocks are setup a LOT different you will still want the basic slayer shock setup (discs/oil wt etc)

the erevo chassis is too long. its the same length as the revo 3.3 with is 30mm too long. that was my first idea actually

yes, I think there is a guide on rc-monster.com

Id keep the mechanical brakes though.. love those, I actually setup my e-truggy and e-buggy w/ tekno conversion specifically so I could do that.

You should look at the 1/10 losi truggy conversion thread.. way better of a e-short course 4x4 than a converted slayer. Really easier to do as well using the rc-monster conversion kit

I think the tekno motor mount allows a brushless motor to bolt right up like the castle 1y or similar on the slayer if you must.. may want to look at that keep the stock tranny, just lock it in second gear and keep the mech brakes.

it doesn't get any easier to find.. go to the rcm forum go to the revo section and it's a sticky at the VERY TOP.
