Losi 8ight T Pics!
Hey guys... I finally got some decent pics of my Losi 8T project "blindside", and figured Id start a thread for Pics..
This is a project of mine that took a bit of time to build, but it turned out pretty nice - Everything aluminum is either polished or chromed, check it out! Post up your truggies!!!! http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...S/131_4681.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...S/131_4682.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...S/131_4684.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...S/131_4685.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...S/131_4686.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...S/131_4688.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...S/131_4689.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...S/131_4690.jpg http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...S/131_4691.jpg |
looks great
That looks great but why did you get the 0-offset rims they shorten the truck by both sides by a half inch.

i have a eight-t 1.0 too and, adding the 1/2 wheel hexs with 0 offset rims seem to make a diffrence in the handling. even though looking at the wheelbase by the eye it doesnt look wider. |
Very nice truck man. Can't see myself racing that with the polished furniture though
I might get a racing truggy in the near future, but I got to much crap as it is. Once I get rid of my worthless Hellfire I might get a roller or something. |
difference
I could see the difference between the 0 and 1/2 inch offset, but when i had my 1.0 truggy,it did have the extenders and your right it did handle better.

How much does this thing weights? :| Are you going to drive destruction derby or? :p
|
here is my losi 8ight t-e 2.0 race roller

it did make it more stable but, its not quite the way i want it to handle . but il tell you what i was, hanging right with the 2.0 truggys and it was my first time racing truggy. and i won 1 heat i dont care for the short rack, too much on a large techinal 1/8 track. but i think setups will help with that. im running it as a nitro by the way. |
steering
I run the 2.0 truggy in electric and have the short steering rack on mine so it carves the corners like it's on rails.

well the 2.0 t is way wider too than the 1.0 t lol. the short rack seems too touchy maybe, its because of my dual rate but its only at 70 % and i have full throw and the toe out in the front is about 1 degree. but yea the short rack does carve the corners. |
yep
Just a little bit.lol.I think the arms are half inch longer on both sides.and the chassis is 14mm longer in the rear i think.
