Is this a good idea? (Motor Question)

Hey would this stuff be a good idea to use when breaking in brushes?

thanks
Jeff

It works great for its intended purpose, but it's really not needed.

okay thanks Aaron, I was looking at it and was wondering if it was a good investment...

Don't bother with it, its not worth the $$$, im just always sure to apply a bit of light machine oil during breakin and it works fine

Personally, I don't use any drops to break my brushes in.

I don't even break in my brushes for stock..just run them.

what exactly does Breaking in brushes do?

Aaron Waldron 05-30-2004 06:55 PM

It forms the face of the brush to the same shape as the comm, so there is as much contact as possible.

if you want as much contact as possible, why does Reedy make Cavity brushes?
