Default jammin scrt 10 body mods for standard wheel size??

I am thinking of getting a Jammin SCRT 10 truck and have heard about the weak front bumper which is an easy fix with the t bone bumper, but I have also heard that the wheels are slightly smaller than a standard short course wheel, meaning you are stuck with the stock wheels/tires.

So my question is, what do you have to do to make standard 2.2/3.0 wheels and proline or AKA tires to fit? Do you have to make body mods? What bodies are available for it beside the stock one?

I would love to see pics of some SCRT 10 trucks running standard SCT tires.

Are there any other weak points that should be addressed right away?

Thanks guys!

Slash rear wheels fit perfectly on front and back thats what most ppl are using. Youll have to trim your org body a little bit or you can buy the new Proline Desert Rat 2.0 body made for the SCRT

I use the slash rear bead locks for my front and rear and the desert rat body, thats my setup atleast, hope that helps

do the tires rub on the desert rat body or do they fit nicely?

The stock wheels are not the standard 2.2/3.0 wheel/tire but they are still 12mm wheel hexes so you can run any SC wheel(s)....Proline, J Concepts+++. The same goes for bodies. AE SC10, Proline Slash bodies, J-concepts Dare, Truth and Manta bodies all work!! It is personal pref. on which one! Go to the Jammin SCRT 10 thread!!! Has all the info you need and more!!!

I use the manta blitz body on mine with slash rear offset all the way around and no trimming is required. The screws do come out of the rear bumper at times also. Keep a supply of body mounts also that mount to the shock towers until you get used to driving. Flipping it over a few times usually results in snapping them.

I would recommend going through the 40 plus pages on the scrt-10 thread, there is a LOT of information covered and there's no easy substitute but patience and reading! Take notes!
