Is there going to be a new rc track in temecula?
i looked in the track locator forms but i couldent find it.

The Palomar R/C Fliers club will be opening a track just off the 15 to club members only..who knows when.

ARC Racing is working with the city of Temecula to obtain permits to build their own facility; ARC is run by family friends of mine, Dan and Adam Cole. Stay tuned!

i went to hobby people in escondido about a month ago and they had some paper asking for help on some new rc track. i thought it was in temecula. is that ARC??

The Palomar track might be "considered" Temecula, but it's just off the east side of the 15, well before Fallbrook...you can see the drivers' stand next to a group of trees.

ARC is in the actual city of Temecula, and it's a business..they're waiting for building permits right now.

The Palomar track is getting close to completion. They said that they hope to have most of the track to be completed by August. They have the driver's stand, walls, and almost done with the fencing. Its only been about less then a year right now they have been working on it. But also remember that it is being built by about 10 members on the weekends.

And to race there you will need a ROAR member ship or their flying membership.

I was there yesterday but could not get in. Looked on the website to join and it says that you have to be a member of ROAR or AMA to become a palomar flyers club. Is thgis true?

That is what I've heard..and it's most likely for insurance purposes.

Good thing I got my ROAR card :D
