Default Stripped metric screw.

Frozen metric screw on the bottom of my SCRT10. I tried heating it with a solder tip to soften the loctite but it stripped more when I tried to loosen it.

Any suggestions?

Left handed drill bit. It will start to drill and then catch and turn the screw out. I keep one in my box for such problems.

+1 to the above.

If that won't get it take a dremel with a THIN cut-off wheel and make a slot right across the recess for the hex bit... use a standard or flat head screw driver THAT FILL's THE SLOT!!to remove the screw... make sure you heat it up real good before you even try to remove it.

I save my worn out cutoff wheels - the smaller diameter wheel will not cut out into the chassis as much as a full diameter wheel will when you have to slot a screw in the chassis.
