If you are going to run Castle the 5700 will be fine.

Go sensored. A 5700kv will be a lot of a beginner, I say start with a 10.5t-13.5t. When i first started racing 1/0th or when i used to i had a 8.5t and than i switch to a 17.5t and my lap times were faster because i wasnt all over, i could keep it strait and undercontrol

I run the Mamba 5700 in a X 6 buggy (2wd) and it is a lot of motor. I can pull wheelies almost anytime I want to when the dirt has any traction at all.

def. want control and not to be all over the place 13.5 sounds like a good spot to start just wanted some input thanks guys :)

I agree that a 13.5 would be a great motor to get . Once you become a better driver you can go to a faster motor .
