Default lexan thickness

I have 3 proline shortcourse bodies.

hardcore: feels hard, thick. less flexability
silverado: feels even harder, thicker. very stiff
F-150 : feels thinner, very flexable

I thought that when I buy a proline body, that they all would be the same thickness. that it would be the same fabric. the same lexan. but it feels otherwise.

are you experiencing the same ?

Sometimes you can choose between a normal body and a heavy duty body.

It also has to do with all the bends in the body.

lexan bodies are manufactured by the Vacuum Forming process. The overall thickness varies throughout the body depending how much "stretching" is required to conform to the body mold.

Also thinner lexan is needed when a mold has a lot of small high quality details, and (or) multiple compound bends
