Everyone at my local track says they are not worth the materials used to make them AKA they are garbage!!

I got to say I own a strike..... A true piece of junk! The chassis is in my garage with a broken transmission.

Stay far away from that thing. If you would like a losi SCT you can pick up a XXX-T chassis pretty cheap and use one of these two conversions.

Garbage..... Mine gave me nothing but problems and I did everything necessary to "fix" it. It still sucked root

If only we all could of read a thread like this before buying,
we'd all be $150 richer!

I know a guy who has/had one and he hated the thing and switched to a Blitz. All I've heard is negative stuff about them too.

Poor quality parts,differential problems,hideous body and paint job,not legal for racing,pins instead of 12mm hexes on rear wheels, unreliable electronics- just to name a few issues.
2.4 GhZ radio and receiver is the only good thing that I can think of.
My Strike is in a box under my work bench(as is my bashing mate's)

Slash 2WD-Xcelorin 4800kv motor/EZrun 80 amp ESC.
Slash 4WD-stock.
Hyper 10 SC-Novak HV PRO 6.5t combo.
Hyper 10 SC-Mamba Max 4600kv combo.
HPI Blitz-Xcelorin 4800 kv motor/Sidewinder ESC.
HPI Blitz-VXL 3500kv motor/Sidewinder ESC.

Had an AE SC10 but sold it as I don't race and got a good price for it.

Last I heard you can't even race it at ROAR events because it isn't legal in ROAR's rules.

I won the Stock SCT A-main with mine this weekend. It just needs a few upgrades from stock to be reliable. It is not ROAR legal though.
