Dose Voltage cap help with dead spots?

Salutations folks. Ive been having an issue where every so often my steering and throttle will go out for a couple seconds then come back in. several people have said that the bec on my havoc 3s isnt giving enough voltage to the receiver and i need a voltage cap. Dose this sound right, and has this happened to anyone else? im using the following.

Spektrum Dx2.0 w/ sr300 receiver
Novak Havoc 3s
Ballistic 8.5 sensored
ACE 1313 servo 175oz/tq and .13 transit speed

using hobby people 5000mah 35c 2cell lipos

The voltage cap im speaking of is the one that is made by spektrum and plugs into the receiver.

It helps.. not always the solution, but good possibility it will be.

Havoc's like to thermal also.

I am having the same problems with my RX8 and dx3s, I was about to post this same question. I am also loosing both power and steering, I found this

I spoke with the people at tekin and they told me to get a capacitor that plugs into the receiver is that the one they are talking about?

In my Hyper 10SC with an HV 550 can and HV Hitec servo on a 2s lipo, I would get dead spots all over the track at every race. Since getting a voltage cap. the truck hasn't glitched once. They're only $10-$20 and are well worth the investment

I have been running the rx8 with the dx3s for 3 months and it just started acting up today. Kinda strange
