Default need help gearing for stock oval

hey, i'm running a xxx bk in stock oval this year. right now i'm using a monster with 23/78 gearing. i'd like to know if this too much/little or just right for this motor.

That's WAY too high for that motor. I know that you will be wide-open most of the time on an oval, but that motor still needs to be geared down to make power, and you'll probably blow it up geared that high.

Start at 20/82 and gear up if needed.
